At Bishop O'Hara High School, the soccer program is supported not for the purpose of training future professional athletes, but as an educational activity in which participants may learn valuable lessons concerning sportsmanship, teamwork, discipline, and the attainment and maintenance of an eudaemonic level of mental and physical health during the high school years and beyond.
